Moving average crossovers are always interesting, so let’s start there: Litecoin crossed below its 20 day moving average yesterday. Price action traders in particular will want to note that the 30 day period appears to show price forming a base; this could indicate that a support/resistance level is developing. For another vantage point, consider that Litecoin’s price has gone up 9 of the previous 14 trading days.

  • From SatoshiLite:

I’ve braced myself for the hate, but this joke was just too good to pass up! 😂Joke aside, Litecoin launched when there was already a large vibrant crypto community. So it’s extremely unlikely any early miners mined anywhere close to 5% of the coins like Satoshi allegedly did.

  • From dgb_chilling:

I can do you one better. Let’s hypothesize that both the $LTC and $DGB blocks are *also* full to the same extent. Mempool will empty both 4x (LTC) and 40x (DGB) faster than #Bitcoin, but tx costs at current USD$ coin values would be 0.06 for #Litecoin or $0.00002 for #DigiByte 🤯

  • From dgb_chilling:

To add to the mix, #Litecoin would be a little over USD$0.02 for 5000 Sats, and a 2.5 minute conf time being 10x longer compared to #DigiByte . That is definitely more cost-effective than #Bitcoin but the raw on-chain scaling of $DGB is clearly a winner… 🥰

For more information on how opt-in privacy will be implemented onto Litecoin, here are the two Litecoin Improvement Proposals (LIPs): Since the current Litecoin code is very similar to Bitcoin code, David Burkett will have a large task ahead of him….So in order to make sure that this continues to happen even after the MimbleWimble code has been integrated, David will need further resources to make the necessary infrastructure changes so once MimbleWimble code is released on Litecoin, the Litecoin Core developers will still be able to merge changes from future Bitcoin core releases….)
