You can now buy Malteasers, MilkyWay and Galaxy Ripple chocolate cakes from £3

We’ve got some pretty exciting news for all your lockdown birthday babies and self-confessed chocoholics as you can now get Malteasers Button, MilkyWay and Galaxy cakes from Tesco – which are sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face.

The chocolate brand cake collaborations are now available in Tesco stores and online at tesco.com from £3 and even if it’s not your birthday, get one anyway because they sound delish.

To find your nearest Tesco store and opening times, why not use the store locator.

The Maltesers Chocolate Cake, priced at £3, is a chocolate sponge cake filled with a dark chocolate frosting, topped with milk chocolate frosting and decorated with delicious milk chocolate discs containing honeycomb pieces. Yum – we’re suddenly really hungry.

So much chocolate.

The Galaxy Ripple Indulgent Chocolate Cake, priced at £10, is an indulgent chocolate sponge cake covered in ganache frosting with chocolate decorations, topped with Galaxy Ripple and drizzled in chocolate. Is your mouth watering yet?

And if that wasn’t enough, may we introduce you to the cake that’s caught out eye the most in the form of the MilkyWay Shooting Star Cake, which launched into the superstore earlier this week.

Priced at £12, this is a scrummy sounding sponge cake layered with chocolate ganache frosting, topped with frosting and a milk chocolate decoration in the form of a large shooting MilkyWay star. You’ll need to act fast to shot-gun that.

We should also point out when it says ‘layered’, it looks to be about six thin ones and looks oh so tasty.

Pick one up for the lucky birthday person on your next essentials shopping trip or get it delivered straight to their house if you’re lucky enough to get a slot.

These cakes come from Mars as part of a new range, ready to spice up your lockdown birthday.

Just don’t forget the candles.

And they aren’t the only place you can now have a cake delivered as earlier this week, Marks and Spencer have started selling cakes which can be delivered to your door or someone elses, and one of the cakes is a Colin the Caterpillar cake.

He comes with a tote bag, foil balloon, bag of vegetarian jelly sweets and the cake of all childhood dreams.

That’s not all, they’ve recently created loads of wonderful gifts that can be delivered to someone self-isolating – including a cake with booze and a chocolate cake for £10 which includes candles. Winning.
